About Prem Sahoo

 

Prem Sahoo is a generous and dedicated individual who has devoted his life to social service. Born in the village of Kalwasiya, Sardulshahar district, Sri Ganganagar, he completed his school education at DV Higher Secondary School, Sri Ganganagar. Subsequently, he pursued civil engineering in Rohtak, actively engaging in the struggle for employment for unemployed engineers in Jaipur.

 

In 2007, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and actively contributed to meaningful service through various roles, including handling the national executive responsibilities of the BJP Kisan Morcha.

 

In the years 2016-17, Prem Sahoo worked on the DD Kishan Channel, using his knowledge to serve in the fields of agriculture and related sectors.

 

Inspired by the thoughts and service commitment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prem Sahoo established the Rukmani Devi Sukharam Sahu Charitable Trust. The trust has undertaken several significant initiatives for the education, health, and social security of girls.

 

Under the "Seva Sankalp Yatra" by the trust, efforts have been made to open bank accounts for girls who face financial difficulties. Regular deposits are made in these accounts, providing financial stability. Health cards are created for these girls, along with regular health check-ups. The trust also offers career counseling and job assistance to ensure a strong economic foundation for their future.

 

The mission of the trust, under Prem Sahoo's leadership, includes the "Swachhata se Shiksha ki Ore" initiative. This initiative aims to provide separate, secure, and clean sanitation facilities with water supply for girls in every government school, ensuring their privacy and dignity. The trust recognizes the impact of inadequate sanitation facilities on girls' education, as highlighted in the Annual Status of Education Report 2022.

 

Prem Sahoo's mission is to bring about positive change in society and ensure every girl's right to a safe and prosperous future. Under his leadership, the trust is actively working to establish Seva Sankalp Centers in every district of Rajasthan, striving to fulfill its mission.
